Our instructors are an important part of the success of our dojo.
Master Nathan Winkelmann
Having started shotokan karate at hsok in 1990 (at 8 years of age); mr. Winkelmann received his master rank (5th degree black belt) in August of 2015. As the owner and chief instructor of HSOK, Master Winkelmann can often be found overseeing the dojo's classes and creating new courses for our ninja warrior program. Winkelmann’s forward-thinking philosophy has directly lead to the creation of new outreach programs and classes.
Sensei Andy Hyvl
